A note for all supporters of another big chapter in the history of Cray Wanderers Women on Sunday 8th September. Kick off at Flamingo Park, 4.30 pm with admission, £3 adults, £2 concessions.
A week after their first FA Cup tie, Dean Jarman’s side begin their first SCEWFL Premier Division season after winning the West Division last season. Their first opponents are their great nemesis from last season, Tonbridge Angels who the Wands pipped to the title. The teams drew 2-2 at Tonbridge in late November but Tonbridge won an incredible game at Cray, 4-3 in April but kept their nerve to win the title.
Cray face a tough opening to the season with Tonbridge followed by a trip to Tunbridge Wells Foresters next Sunday will be excellent barometers to the quality of the league.

Cray began their season last Sunday with a professional performance to win 3-0 at Soccer Elite FA Women in the FA Cup with Katie Jackson who followed up her excellent pre-season form by scoring a hat-trick to advance to a home tie with Comets WFC on Sunday 22nd September at Flamingo Park, 2 pm.
