A note for Cray Wanderers supporters that this afternoon, Cray Wanderers Women continue their early stages of pre-season by hosting the Sponsors Cup tournament with Sutton United Women and Renselleur Polytechnic Institute (RPI), New York against the Wands. The first match will be at 4.30 with all three games an hour in duration, with the second game at 6pm and final game at 7.30pm.
The Wands first friendly took place last Sunday as Cray were beaten by a very strong Dorking Wanderers side 0-5. Sutton United play in the same league, London & South East Premier while RPI will bring organisation and a fit side over from the United States and will be a match for both teams.
We look forward to hosting both teams and to a great competition.
Also news for Cray Wanderers supporters that the Wands have a Men’s U23s side competing this season in the Southern Counties East League Development League West Division. The Wands are one of 12 clubs in the league along with
Corinthian, Cray Wanderers, Croydon, Erith Town, Glebe, Holmesdale, Kent Football United, Rusthall, Stansfeld, Sutton Athletic, Tunbridge Wells
The Wands will play the home fixtures on Friday evenings at Flamingo Park with the first on Friday 30th August vs Erith Town, KO TBC.
