Cray Wanderers Women vs Margate Women – SECWFL Premier – Sunday 3rd November, 4.30 pm

Cray Wanderers Women return to action on Sunday 3rd November with the first of three successive home Sunday games with the visit of Margate FC Women to Flamingo Park. Kick off 4.30 pm.

Cray who have games in hand were without a match last weekend and come into the game in 5th place in the league on with 12 points and last time out were 7-0 winners against Woodcoombe Sports on 20th October with goals from Katie Jackson (2), Jess Pooley (2), Ellie Cole, Hannah Atkins and Okasia Brown.

Margate in 7th place got off to a slow start to the season and lost their opening five matches but have recovered and have won two out of their last three including a 5-0 home win against Woodcoombe Sports last Sunday.

The two teams met last season in the Kent County Cup in February in the Kent County Cup with Cray winning 2-0 with goals from Claire Goldsmith and Jess Pooley.  The teams will meet again in the league at Margate on 28th January, 2025.

Cray Wanderers Women’s games are always a joy to watch and a great way to wind down your evening and weekend.
