Cray Wanderers are delighted to announce the signings of two experienced strikers David Smith and Alex Teniola and midfielder Charlie Edwards for the 2024-25 season.
David Smith
Cray Wanderers are delighted to announce the signing of striker David Smith who joins the Wands from Folkestone Invicta where he scored 15 goals in 44 appearances last season.
David came through the Maidstone United youth system before joining Sittingbourne and then Dover Athletic for the 2018-19 season with loan spells at Sevenoaks Town and Sittingbourne and then on to Ashford United for the 2019-20 season. He joined Folkestone in the summer of 2020 scoring 41 goals in two seasons before joining Bromley in the summer of 2022 with loan spells at Hornchurch, Margate and Hastings United. He rejoined Folkestone last summer and has been a consistent Isthmian league goalscorer.

Alex Teniola
Cray Wanderers are delighted to announce the signing of striker Alex Teniola to the club. Alex who played for the Wands during the successful end of the 2014-15 Isthmian North season joins the Wands from Hashtag United where he scored 14 goals in 50 league and cup appearances last season.
Alex is an experienced striker who played for Tonbridge and Enfield Town in 2014 and came to the Wands in March 2015 from Redhill and scored 7 goals in 14 matches as the Wands staved off relegation from the Isthmian North with a late 10 match winning run. He moved on to VCD Athletic, Phoenix Sports (2 spells), Aveley (3 spells), Brentwood Town, Concord Rangers, Dulwich Hamlet & Greenwich Borough on loan, Thamesmead Town, Barking, Heybridge Swifts (2 spells), Chelmsford City, Coggleshall Town and on to Hashtag United for the 2022-23 season and part of the Isthmian North title winning side and made 91 appearances scoring 32 goals.
Alex is also the host of the Teniola Time instagram chat show which has a huge worldwide following.
