Hello, Members, prospective members, and friends,
Yesterday the Draw for August took place within the surrounds of The Pier Hotel, witnessed
by a gathering of club officials.
Miss Emma Witsey was kind enough to agree to extract the winning numbers and they are
as follows.
Holding number 39, Daniel Hillman of Green- St.- Green, has won the 1st Prize of £150.
The 2nd Prize, of £65. with number 57, was won by Debbie Beaven of Orpington, Kent.
In third place, with number 28, winning £35 is Jim Jackson of Welling Kent.
Congratulations to our winning trio for August.
With luck, the Draw for September will take place at half-time in the home fixture nearest
to, or just after, the end of this month.
At the moment it looks like being on Saturday 3rd of October when Cray is scheduled to be
at home against Merstham FC. However, that is also the date of the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying
round, and should either club be required to feature in that, another date for the Draw will be
announced.
The Isthmian League, Premier Division, gets underway on Saturday the 19th of September
when Cray Wanderers FC are at home to Kingstonian FC, kick-off at 3 pm.
