Congratulations to Cray Wanderers manager Neil Smith on winning the Vita Risk Solutions Isthmian Premier Manager of the month for March
This is second accolade in the last four months as Cray won all four matches in March and have set themselves the possibility of an historic place in the Isthmian Premier playoffs. Smudger won the award for December after four wins and a draw had at the time had moved the Wands up to 2nd in the table.
Well done Smudger and here’s hoping he can claim a hat-trick at the end of April.
Here Neil pays tribute to his staff and the award is a team effort rather than one individual
“This award is not for me, it is for my staff, the club itself and I mean those that work in the back, to Stacey and Claire who work for the youth teams, Sam Wright, the Chairman and Directors and obviously my management team of Tosh, Paddy, Alfie, Emily, Robert and we have an amazing team off the pitch as well. The players are just doing everything we are asking of them. That award is for everybody at the club and I’m hoping for something even bigger at the end of the season”
