Cray Wanderers vs SC Thamesmead
A note for Cray Wanderers supporters that the U23s are back in action at Flamingo Park on Friday 27th September in the SCEFL Development League West as Sporting Club Thamesmead are the visitors. Kick off 7.45 pm.
Cray are currently 2nd in the league table with nine points from four games, three behind leaders Stansfeld. Last time out Cray won 2-1 at Sutton Athletic on 18th September with goals from Tom Borders who has netted 12 so far and has been included in the first team squad for recent matches and Corey Holden.
Two members of the team, Bobby Parkes and Ed Mare played the full 90 minutes at the back on Tuesday night in the Kent Senior Cup win at Chatham Town with Borders coming on very late in the game which helps with the fast track into the first team for Development League players.
SC Thamesmead have played just the one game so far, a 1-2 home defeat to Tunbridge Wells last Thursday but is sure to be an entertaining night.
Admission for U23s games is £5 adults with season ticket holders and U16s free.
