Congratulations to David Ijaha who has been voted Cray Wanderers Supporters Player of the Year.
David has had a very consistent season either in midfield or in central defence where he excelled when stepping in especially during the Winter. His goal at Haringey Borough was pretty special too. David received 49% of the vote and also had a fair amount of second place votes too.
Last season’s winner Shaun Rowley came 2nd with 27% of the vote with Gary Lockyer in 3rd place on 19% with Anthony Cook and Sam Wood each on 3% .
Congratulations David and a very well deserved award. There will be a Players Awards presentation on Friday 3rd April at 6 pm at Flamingo Park where other presentations will be made. This will be precede the life celebration for Kerry Phillips and prior to the Some Guys Have All the Luck – Rod Stewart Story from 7 pm.
