Cray Wanderers Women 4 (Oldfield, Main, Atkins, Ofori)
Cray moved to the top of the Southern Counties East Women’s Football League Division One West on goal difference from Petts Wood after victory at Tunbridge Wells Foresters 2nd XI.
In difficult playing conditions the Wands took their time to settle but once they got in their stride took control and goals from Jessica Oldfield, Mille Main and Hannah Atkins made it 3-0 at the break.
The plus for the team was that all the players got minutes and also kept a clean sheet and before the end Ren Ofori scored a fourth to complete a good afternoon’s work in Tunbridge Wells.

Cray now have 34 points after 12 games level with Petts Wood who also won today but Petts Wood only have one more match to play whereas Cray have four more league games.
Tonbridge Angels are third on 31 points after 13 games and the Wands and Angels meet at Flamingo Park on 14th April.
Cray on Sunday are at Petts Wood in the Kent FA Plate Semi-Final (1pm) and we wish them good luck in what is their first season with the club. The next league game will be after the Easter break at Crayford Arrows on 7th April.
Well done also to the Cray Wanderers U18s who moved to the top of the Kent Youth League North after an 8-0 win at Fisher FC on Sunday 17th March. Goal scorers were Tommy Allen-Beattie (2), George Brooke (2), Aaron Shawa (2), Corey Holden and Michael Ihiedi.
The win moves Cray on to 33 points, a point clear of Glebe with both having played 13 games. The two teams play at Flamingo Park on 14th April.
We also wish Roy Brooke’s side good luck this morning in the Kent County Cup Semi-Final at Cray Valley PM, (kick off 10.30 am) looking to reach the Final and on the verge of a great season.
